Why permanently made-up lips?
To show their lips at their best, women have always practiced the art of makeup. It is effective, but unfortunately you have to keep reapplying it. And while nature has endowed some of us with a perfectly well defined mouth, others are bothered that their lips are too thin, too flat, and lacking in symmetry. When I enhance a woman’s lips with permanent makeup, I know to her it is more than a mere detail. Her self-image is improved and this is then projected to the world at large. |

The lipliner: To make them look less “flat” it is often enough just to trace a line around the contour of the lips, just as we would underline a word to make it stand out. This is a very important line since it distinguishes the mouth from the face, making the former stand out. |

Full lips: We aim above all for balance, through the interaction of light and shade. For a more “rounded” effect, we create an essentially nuanced contrast between the color of the lip contour (darker) and that of the lips themselves (lighter). Combined with the pigmentation of the lip perimeter, it creates a more sensuous, more generous mouth. |
Lips come in all shapes and sizes, and there are many ways to “cheat”!
